Enterprise Model Import Controls

Written by Noam Gichon

By default, Enterprise workspaces cannot import models from Fal or Replicate. This is because Weave is designed to give you and your users complete control over the models being used within your organization, including visibility into their terms and verification status.

Using the Model Management tool, admins can review, approve, and manage which models are available to their team.

Enabling Model Imports

If you would like to allow users in your workspace to import models from Fal and Replicate, you can enable this directly from the Model Management settings.

To enable model imports:

Open the Model Management tool

Click Settings in the top-right corner of the screen

Toggle on the Enable Imported Models option

Once enabled, users in your Enterprise workspace will be able to request to import models by simply copying and pasting a model URL from Fal or Replicate.

Approval Workflow

When a workspace member imports a model they would first need to request approval before the model can be used

Workspace admins will receive a notification both:

  • by email

  • and inside the Model Management tool

Admins can then choose to Approve the model or Reject the model

Until the model is approved, users will not be able to use it inside the workspace

Managing Multiple Requests

If there are multiple pending import requests, admins can navigate between them using the arrow controls inside the approval interface

Viewing Imported Models

Once a model has been approved or blocked, it will appear in the Model Management tool with:

  • an User Requested tag

  • a direct link to the model’s page

This allows admins to easily track and manage all externally imported models across the workspace.
