The Design App - What is it for?

The Design app feature is here to help you simplify your workflow, to create a design machine with your own chosen attributes that you can share with whoever you want. With the Design App you can create one workflow and to generate infinite variations with it.

How to create a Design App?

The Design App can be created with any workflow, just follow these steps:

  • Add an Output node into your workflow, connect it to the end result

  • The App tab will now be unlocked on the top of the canvas and ready to use

  • The exposed node attributes you see in the Design App are the nodes that do not have an input (ie prompt, import image…). If you like to make any of them disappear from the design-up, you would need to set them to locked mode. To lock or unlock a node, click the three dots in the top-right corner of the node

  • You can check whether a node is locked or unlocked by looking at the lock icon next to the three dots

Publishing the App

  • To publish your Design App, simply go to the App tab

  • Click Publish

  • Your app is now ready! To share it with other users, simply click the Share button in the top-right corner of the screen

When you publish an app, only the users you share it with will see it in the app display. As the creator, you will still see it in editable mode.

Your users can switch mode and mess with your workflow. If they break something, they should go back to your shared link.

You can tweak your workflow without interfering with their app version, once you click Publish again, they will get the updated version.

Version Management

Every time you publish your app a new version of it will be saved with the name of the app, date and time. You can view the version you are using next to the Publish button

You can view other versions by clicking on the date of your current version. A dropdown will appear showing all the versions you’ve published, simply select the one you’d like to view.

You can’t edit previous versions of your app, but you can view and share them for as long as you like.

Template examples

The Design App may take some time to get used to, which is why we’ve created examples for you to duplicate and use
