The Weave API lets you integrate Figma Weave's generative capabilities directly into your own applications and workflows. Use of the Weave API is subject to the Figma Weave Developer Terms.
API availability
The Weave API is available exclusively to Figma Weave customers with a Weave Enterprise subscription.
Before you start
To use the Weave API, you will need to generate an API token.
You must be a workspace admin to generate an API token.
API tokens are scoped to a specific workspace.
Sign in to your Weave workspace.
Open Settings > API Tokens.
For first-time setup, you may be prompted to link your Weave and Figma user account. After linking, choose the relevant Figma plan under which the tokens will be created.
Click “Generate API Token”, give it a name, choose expiration, and copy the secret immediately. It is shown only once.
Credit usage
Running workflows through the Weave API consumes Weave credits, and you are responsible for all credit consumption by the Weave API, including consumption attributable to users outside of your organization.
Weave API usage draws from your existing Figma Weave credit pool at then-current consumption rates. There's no separate billing or new contracts for Figma Weave credits in the Weave API.
