No action required. No credits will be deducted for using Gen Effect nodes during the promotional period.
What happens after the promotion ends?
Standard credit costs apply from August 13, 2026 onwards and Gen Effect nodes will not be available on the Free plan.
Terms and Conditions
Figma Weave Promotional Offer: Valid July 29, 2026 through August 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. During the promotional period, no credits are deducted for using the Gen Effect node, for all users on all plans. The offer is applied automatically at the time of use. This offer applies only to the cost of using the Gen Effect node; it does not apply to usage of any other nodes, Figma Weave features, or Figma Weave purchases.
After the promotional period, standard credit costs apply automatically to use of the Gen Effect node, and the Gen Effect node will be available on paid plans only. Effects saved during the promotional period will remain accessible to users on Free plans.
