The Gen Effect node lets you create custom visual effects directly on the canvas using plain language. Describe the effect you want and the node generates a custom effect you can apply to an image or video.
How to use it
Drag the Gen Effect node onto the canvas, or right-click and search for it.
Type a description of the effect you want directly on the node, or add a reference image
Click Generate effect
Add an image or video as input
The generated effect comes with its own set of controls, automatically generated to match what you asked for, so you can fine-tune the result without regenerating. You can also ask for specific controls in your prompt, and the node will generate sliders for them.
To refine an effect, click the node, then click Edit to update your prompt or reference images and regenerate.
Like any other node, you can save a Gen Effect node to the Saved section for reuse across your workflows. See Using the Saved section for details.
