What is Figma?

Figma is where teams come together to turn ideas into the world’s best digital products and experiences. Founded in 2012, Figma has evolved from a design tool to a connected, AI-powered platform that helps teams go from idea to shipped product. Whether you’re ideating, designing, building, or shipping, Figma makes the entire design and product development process more collaborative, efficient, and fun—while keeping everyone on the same page.

Why Figma?

Our approach is deeply aligned with how Figma thinks about design. Together, we can give professional creatives better tools to explore, experiment, and scale ideas from early exploration to production.

What's the bigger vision?

Bringing Weavy into Figma will combine the power of AI workflows with the amazing Figma platform and tools, expanding what the canvas can do. We believe the future of creativity lives at this intersection, between human and machine, between play and precision.

What does this mean for me as a Weavy customer?

Your experience with Figma Weave remains the same. At Config 2026, we launched Weave tools in Figma and the ability to publish Weave workflows to the Figma Community — the first steps in a deeper integration between the two products. Learn more about what's new from Config 2026.

Do I need to do anything with my current Weavy account?

No action is required. Your existing account, projects, and assets remain exactly where they are. You can continue to log in via app.weavy.ai as usual.

How will this affect the current Weavy product?

The product continues as is — same canvas, same workflows, same vision. At Config 2026, we launched the first integrations between Figma Weave and Figma. Over time, we'll continue to bring the two products closer together and will communicate clearly about every step.

Is Figma Weave connected to the main Figma product?

Weave tools are now available directly in Figma, and Weave workflows can be published to and discovered on the Figma Community. This is the beginning of a deeper integration between the two products. Learn more about what's new from Config 2026.

Will my workflows and projects still be available?

Yes - everything stays intact.

Your existing workflows and projects remain safe and accessible. When new integrations roll out, we’ll ensure a smooth transition without disruption.

What happens to my account and credits?

No changes for now. All current credits, subscriptions, and plans continue as usual.

We’ll give you plenty of notice before any updates related to billing or pricing.

Are Figma Weave and Figma credits the same?

No. Figma and Figma Weave operate as separate products with independent credit systems. Figma credits cannot be used within the Figma Weave platform, and vice versa.

I have a paid Figma plan. Does it include a Figma Weave subscription?

No. Because Figma and Figma Weave are currently separate products, they require individual plans. If you would like to access Figma Weave’s paid plans, you can purchase a plan directly through our pricing page

When will Figma Weave be available in Figma?

Weave tools are now available in Figma. Learn more about using Weave tools in Figma.

Are you sharing my data (AI training) or PII with Figma?

No. Your personal data and any content used for AI features are not shared across platforms. We remain committed to privacy and data security — and will continue to be transparent about how data is used as we bring the platforms closer together.

What happens to the Weavy community and collective?

Our community isn’t going anywhere. The Figmae Weave Collective, Discord, and Office Hours will continue - and likely expand. With Figma’s support, we’ll host more events, collaborations, and workshops for our creators and partners.

I’m part of the affiliate program - will it be the same?

Yes. Our affiliate and creator partnerships will continue as planned. We’ll keep everyone updated if there are any changes, but your links, codes, and terms stay valid.

Why do I have to have subscriptions for both Figma and Figma Weave?

For now, Figma and Figma Weave are separate products with separate billing. We understand that’s not the most seamless setup. Over time, Figma Weave will be available directly within the Figma platform, but not yet.

How much will Figma Weave cost and what seats/plans will Figma Weave be available to?

We haven’t made any pricing changes yet. We’re still learning from users and figuring out how Figma Weave fits best within Figma’s product tiers. Expect more updates as we define our longer-term plans over the next year.
